BUILDING FOR KINGDOM GROWTH

Eklund May and Associates formed Building For Kingdom Growth with the desire to provide churches a biblically based strategy for raising funds for building needs or debt retirement, and resources for developing God-honoring Christian stewards. They have designed Building For Kingdom Growth to be used by churches that value principles of biblical stewardship and have a vision for Kingdom growth through reaching and making disciples for Christ. The Building for Kingdom Growth follows closely God’s plan in the Old Testament for building projects and raising money. Also, when the biblical pattern is followed, spiritual awakening can take place in the life of the church.

Because Building For Kingdom Growth is developed around God’s method of raising money, there will never be human pressure. At the heart of Building For Kingdom Growth is getting the church family into serious prayer for the purpose of finding God’s will in their giving. If the building project is the will of God, He has the resources; however, the resources always come from His people. When His people ask, God will share with each to the penny how much to give. God will furnish the resources when we cooperate with Him in our giving. God will not ask us to do something and leave us on our own to get it done. He does expect us to step out by faith and trust Him. When we do, the results are always fantastic!

Week 1 of the Building For Kingdom Growth Campaign began with Harvest Sunday on May 4, 2008.  On that day we received $517,000 in Pledges and raised $40,000 in cash.

You can give your offering using the regular offering envelope.  There is a place to indicate separate offering amounts for Budget as well as BFKG.
